iPhone 16 Pro touchscreen issues

Many iPhone 16 Pro users are reporting intermittent touchscreen issues, where taps and swipes become unresponsive. This issue seems to stem from the phone’s thin bezels and an overly sensitive touch rejection algorithm, rather than a hardware defect. The ultra-slim bezels can lead to accidental touches along the edges, which the phone mistakenly interprets as palm contact, causing the screen to ignore further inputs.

Another factor could be the new Camera Control button, where resting a finger in that area can trigger unresponsiveness. Right-handed users, in particular, might experience this issue more frequently when holding the phone and accidentally touching the screen edges.

Fortunately, this problem is likely software-related, and Apple is expected to address it in upcoming iOS updates(
